The Bällenhöchst can be reached via the Lobhornhut from Sulwald. There, you will find a wonderful panoramic view of the Bernese Alps as well as the lakes of Thun and Brienz.
There is a nice descent through the alpine meadows to the mountain village Saxeten. You can take a small public bus to
Wilderswil/Interlaken.
The bus runs only a few times a day. Therefore, you should plan your trip carefully, keeping in mind the infrequent bus trips.
